Comprehensive Needs Assessment Underway in Pakistan

IRM International CIC, in collaboration with its sister organisation IRM Islamabad, has launched an in-depth needs assessment to identify the most pressing barriers to education, employability, and entrepreneurship among Pakistan’s most vulnerable populations.

The assessment is built on a three-tiered methodology:

  1. Desk Research: Drawing from reputable studies and reports on education, poverty, and unemployment in Pakistan.
  2. Field Visits & Consultations: Direct engagement with local NGOs, community leaders, and potential beneficiaries to gather qualitative insights.
  3. Data Analysis & Prioritisation: Using all collected data to prioritise which challenges need immediate intervention and how to tailor programs for maximum impact.

This research directly informs how IRM develops and delivers its foundational education, technical skills, and entrepreneurship programs. By identifying exact community needs through both data and local collaboration, IRM ensures that its interventions are both relevant and effective.

The process reflects IRM’s commitment to designing needs-based, culturally sensitive, and high-impact solutions — ultimately aimed at fostering self-reliance and community development.
